BURLINGTON - Tallie Waver Smith, 88, of 909 Gorrell St. died Monday at Alamance Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rich & Thompson Mortuary. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
A native of Hickory, he was a retired textile manufacturing supervisor and a member of West Burlington United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Inez S. Blalock of Greensboro; son, Tal D. Smith of Southern Pines; sister, Mrs. Carrie Stout of Burlington; three grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence.
