Mrs. Mabel Souders McCall died at 9:30 p.m. Monday, December 26, 1966 at the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon. She was a resident of 310 Third Street, Huntingdon. Death was unexpected as she had been in good health.
The deceased was born November 30, 1906 at Mount Union R.D., a daughter of William and Annie (Wenzel) Hardy. She was twice married. She was united in marriage to George R. Souders in September 1923, and later married Charles A. McCall in June 1957. McCall preceded her in death in 1965.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Souders, Bunn Level North Carolina, and Robert G. Souders of Enola. Also surviving are two brothers and three sisters: Mrs. John Price, Huntingdon; Mrs. Pearl Watkins, Saltillo; Mrs. Fred Chucheck, Clearfield; James Hardy and Clyde Hardy, both of Mount Union R.D., and seven grandchildren.
She attended the Fifteenth Street Methodist Church and was a member of the Huntingdon American Legion Auxiliary and the No. 2 Fire Company Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29 at 2 p.m. at the Clark funeral home in Mount Union. The Rev. Frank S. Crawford will officiate. Interment will be in the Mount Union I.O.O.F. cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 10 p.m. today, Wednesday, December 28.
