Funeral services were held yesterday, Oct. 15, in Clearfield for Caroline L. Chuckeck, 65, of Clearfield who died Saturday, Oct. 13, 1984 in the Mountain Laurel Nursing Center in Clearfield where she had been a guest. She had been ill for some time.
Born April 23, 1919 in Allenport, Mount Union, R.D., she was the daughter of William and Anne (Wenzel) Hardy.
She is survived by six children: Mrs. Wallace (Jayleen) Baer of Mount Union; Richard Beckwith of Selingsgrove; Mrs. Brenda Kirk of Frenchville; Barry B. Beckwith of Vernon, Ct.; Mrs. Edward (Rhonda) Voss and Mrs. Douglas (Sylvia) Keritzer, both of Clearfield. There are 10 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was a member of the Westside United Methodist Church in Clearfield. She also was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 97 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No.. 812 Ladies Auxiliary, both in Clearfield. She was a homemaker.
Interment was made in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Clearfield.
