Mrs Isaac Owen, native of Clark county, died at her home near Abingdon, Ill, August 8, aged about 73 years. She married Isaac Owen in this county. In 1900 they located near Abingdon where he died a few years ago. Also preceding her in death were her parents, William and Margaret Dunn Edlen, a sister, Mrs Mary Adams of Maybank, Tex; and four brothers, William, Louis, George and Thomas Edlen. Surviving her are four children: George, Phil, and Lloyd Owen and Mrs Fay Allen, all of Illinois; also a brother, Martin Edlen and a sister, Mrs Oscar Sherwood of Kahoka. Mrs Owens' daughter, Mrs W L Browning was killed in an automobile accident while en route to the funeral.
