DUNCAN — May 5, 1935 — May 15, 2011

Cecil J. Bollig joined his Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 15, 2011. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Cecil was born in Hays, Kan. on May 5, 1935. He was the youngest of 12 children. He graduated From Hays High School in 1956. He then joined the U.S. Air Force where he met wife of 52 years, Juanita Marie Young. Cecil and his family moved to Duncan in 1972 from Kansas. He worked for many at organizations including the Moose Lodge, the VFW and Halliburton.

He is survived by his wife: Juanita; their six children: Frank Bollig, Paula and her husband Tommy Reagan, Lori and her husband Tim Mitchell, Theresa Volkman and her fiancé Steve Basden, all living in Texas, Gary and his wife Denise and Andy and his wife Emily, both of Duncan; two sisters, two brothers and 10 grandchildren. He will truly be missed by all.

Services will be held at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home Chapel, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 with Father Joseph Irwin officiating. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday evening.
