Margaret Elizabeth (Bollig) Hazelton, 88, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. She was born July 13, 1925, in Hays.

She married Douglas Hazelton on July 10, 1948

She was member of the Girl Scouts, Commission of City Council, Norwalk, Calif., Norwalk Art Guild, Lake Havasu City, Havasu Quilt Guild, Havasu Art Guild and Quilting Bees, which would meet at her home every Thursday.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Lake Havasu City; a son, Larry Hazelton and wife, Robin Close Hazelton, Palm Desert, Calif.; a daughter, Susan Arner and husband, Deacon Jeff, Lake Havasu City; seven grandchildren, Dr. Stacie Herrera, Sandi Herrera-Borba, Stephanie Scott, Nevaeh Arner, Natalie Hazelton, Melissa Hazelton Petersen and Brandon Hazelton; nine great-grandchildren.

Services were Sept. 7 at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory, Lake Havasu City, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences can be sent to lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
