Marcus Daniel Biggers, a Kilmichael native & Greenwood businessman, died May 27 at Greenwood-Lefore Hospital, at the age of 55.
He was sales representation of Excello Products, Greenwood, at the time of his death. A graduate of Miss. State, he was past president of Miss. Dairy Association & past president of the Miss. Dairy Supply Association, a post he also held in Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama & Tennessee.
He was former ower & operator of Leflore Dairy.
Funeral mass was conducted Tuesday morning, May 29 at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church. Burial service was held at St. John's Methodist Church, with interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Florence Biggers, Greenwood; 4 children, Mary Frances Biggers, New Orleans; Mrs. Joe Wicks, Marc Allen Biggers and Steve Lory Biggers all of Greenwoood; 3 brothers, Steve T. Biggers of Kilmichael; Allen Biggers & Mike Biggers, both of Greenwood; five sisters, Mrs. Wendall Holmes, Mrs. Lee Swindoll, Mrs. R.F. Thompson & Mrs. Arnold Pittman all of Winona & Mrs. H.B. Chandler, Greenwood and one granddaughter.
