Albert Whitlatch Is Dead in Texas

Albert Whitlatch, 61, of El Paso, Tex., a former Parkersburg resident, died in that city yesterday at 1 p.m. according to word received by relatives here last night.
Whitlatch, a foreman for a construction contractors, suffered a stroke Sunday and died in an El Paso hospital.
He was born in Wood County, Aug. 9, 1894, a son of William and Mary Marshall Whitlatch. He attended Wood County, Schools.
Survivors include his second wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Whitlatch, Marietta; four sons, Lawrence A. Whitlatch and Elmer E. Whitlatch, Parkersburg, Glen C. Whitlatch of Vienna, and Blaine R. Whitlatch of Columbus, O.; two brothers, J. Monroe Whitlatch and Edward Whitlatch, Parkersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Susanna Mowery and Mrs, Hester Savage both of Parkersburg.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gertrude Headley Whitlatch; and two brothers, Samuel, wo died in the 1913 flood, and Al Whitlatch, who died in 1937.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from Martin Mortuary in El Paso, Tex. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetary.
