Mrs. Hester E. Savage, 69, 924 7th St., died yesterday afternoon in the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born at Herndon, Wood County, Jan 5, 1896, the daughter of the late William and and Mary Whitlatch, and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Charles F. Savage; one son, Donald Riley, Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Suzanna Mowery; and two grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Franklin funeral home, 1117 Murdoch Av. The Rev. E. J. Gibson, pastor of the 19th St. Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetary on Rt. 31.
