Glen C. Whitlatch fell asleep in death on March 17, 2015.

He was born May 5, 1921, to Albert and Elizabeth Lenore Whitlatch, he was 93 years old.

He dedicated his life to Jehovah God 72 years ago and became one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved his ministry work the most of all, and was active in that to his death. He look forward to the time when Jesus promised that "those in the memorial tombs will . . . come out." (John 5:28, 29) In harmony with God's original purpose, those resurrected as humans will have the opportunity to live on a paradise earth. (Luke 23:43) This promised future includes perfect health and everlasting life for obedient humans. The Bible says: "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."-Psalm 37:29.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 72 years, Elizabeth Jane Whitlatch, back in Dec. 13, 2013. He leaves behind his daughter, Myrna Beanard (Paul); his son, Jeffrey Whitlatch (Sharon); his grandchildren, Darren Beanard, Glen Beanard, Matthew Whitlatch, Michael Whitlatch, Bradley Whitlatch, Michelle Hazelett, and also his beloved Jenny Ellis, who he considered his granddaughter as well; his great-grandchildren, Patricia Beanard, Kaylee Beanard, Anthony Beanard, Arielle Beanard, Ava Whitlatch, Kaylee Whitlatch, Victoria Whitlatch, Rylee Cottrell, Brittany Whitlatch, Brooklyn Whitlatch, Tyler Whitlatch, and Cody Hazelett; and many, many friends that he loved so very dearly.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m., Saturday March 21, with David Zinn speaking at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on College Parkway in Parkersburg. The family will receive friends beginning at 4 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall. A visitation with family and friends will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Family Center, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va.
