Funeral services for James Monroe Whitlatch, 75, of 816 Lynn Street, who died at the home of C.E. Alleman, Rt. 1, Davisville, were conducted at 1:30 p.m. today at the Spencer Funeral Home, Belpre.
The Rev. Thomas McIntire officiated with burial in the Arlington Memorial Gardens.
Born in Wood County, a son of the late William and Mary Marshall Whitlatch, he was a retired 45-year employee of the Stork Baking Co.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Susannah Mowery of Parkersburg; eight nephews, Russell and Claude Mowery, both of Parkersburg; Everett Mowery of Pheonix, Ariz., Elmer and William Whitlatch, both of Parkersburg, Larry Whitlatch of Anaheim, Calif., Glen Whitlatch of Vienna and Blaine Whitlatch of Columbus, O.; and one niece Mrs. Thelma Tyree of Parkersburg.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Edward, Samuel, Allison, and Albert Whitlatch a sister, Mrs. Hester Savage and a half sister, Mrs. Cora Marshall.
