Funeral services for Mrs. Susanna Whitlatch Mowery, 83, of 1002 Williams St., who died Monday at the Powell Nursing Home will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Franklin and Son Memorial Chapel.
The Rev. James B. Arbogast will officiate with burial to be in the Mount Olivet Cemetary.
Born Oct. 8, 1886, she was a daughter of the late William Henry and Mary E. Marshall Whitlatch and was a lifelong residentof Parkersburg. She was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, C.C. Mowery, Rt. 4 Parkersburg, A. Russell, Parkersburg, and M.E. Mowery, Phoenix, Ariz.; two foster sons, L.A. Whitlatch, Annaheim, Calif. and Elmer Whitlatch, Parkersburg; 24 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Earl G. Mowery, five sisters and three brothers.
