Mrs. Mary K. Mullen, 73, Blue Ridge, died at 12:15 a.m. today at Rushville Hospital where she had been a patient for ½ weeks. She had been a resident of Jackson Nursing Home, Rushville, since Jan. 22, 1974. Born Jan. 15, 1903 in Rush County, the daughter of George and Addie B. (Rader) Gahimer, she was married Aug. 10, 1941 to Harry G. Mullen, who died July 24, 1964. Surviving are several brothers and sisters, Howard, Basil and Leonidas Gahimer, Miss Dorothy Gahimer and Mrs. Thelma J. Fox, all of Blue Ridge, Mrs. Charles (Isabel ) Smith, R.R. 1, Waldron, Mrs. Cecil (Gladys P.) Cass, Fountaintown, and Chester D. Gahimer, Gwynneville; and a nephew, Donald E. Gahimer, Blue Ridge, whom she reared. Two sisters and two brothers preceded in death. Mrs. Mullen, who lived the greater portion of her life in Blue Ridge, spent her early life in Rush County. She was a former employee of Real Silk Hosiery Co., Indianapolis, and was a member of the Blue Ridge Christian Union Church. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Carmony Funeral Home with the Rev. W. B. Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
