Death Claims Mrs. Goolsby – Blue Ridge Resident Dies in Indianapolis – Mrs. Inez M. Goolsby, 55, resident of Blue Ridge, died at Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis at 4:00 o’clock this morning. She had been in failing health for several months and seriously ill several weeks. Mrs. Goolsby was born August 15, 1904, near Blue Ridge and had spent the greater part of her life in that community. Her parents were George and Addie (Rader) Gahimer. On December 25, 1936, she was married to Wiliam C. Goolsby, who preceded in death on May 31, 1952. Two children survive, Loletta and William J. Goolsby, both at home. Mrs. Goolsby was one of 13 children and surviving are 11 brothers and sisters, Mrs. Mary Mullen, Miss Dorothy Gahimer, Mrs. Thelma Fox, Mrs. Isabelle Smith, Howard, Basil, Leonidas, and Chester Gahimer, all of Blue Ridge; Mrs. Gladys Cass, Fountaintown; Daniel Gahimer, Waldron, and Mrs. Jean Oliver of Anderson.

Rites Set For Mrs. Goolsby – Rites have been arranged for Mrs. Inez M Goolsby, 55, of Blue Ridge, who died Saturday at Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis. Services will be held at the Carmony Funeral Home in Shelbyville at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, with burial in Blue Ridge cemetery. Rev. Robert Cavaness will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
