Abraham first married to Hannah (last name unknown) (c1783-???) in c1808 at presumably North Carolina, although perhaps Indiana. Abraham and Hannah were the parents of no known children.
After Hannah died, Abraham remarried to Catherine (went by Cathy or Caty) Lopp (1783-1858) in c1810 at presumably North Carolina, though possibly Indiana. Abraham and Cathy were the parents of nine known children, namely:

3. Joseph Alexander Walk (1814-1900)
4. John Jacob Walk (1816-1885)
5. Susannah Walk (1818-1895)

After Cathy died, Abraham remarried to Sarah Rhodes (1794-1883) on 24 Oct 1860 at Harrison County, Indiana, but had no known additional children.
Abraham J. Walk fought under General Harrison in the Battle of Tippecano in 1811. He came to Harrison County, Indiana in 1808.

Abraham moved to Indiana in 1808 and purchased 160 acres of land in Jackson Township, Harrison County, Indiana on 31 Mar 1809. At the time of the 1810 Harrison County census Abraham and Cathy had no children, three horses and 160 acres. In 1811 Abraham participated in the Battle of Tippecanoe, under the command of future President William Henry Harrison. In 1850 the family was living at Harrison County, Indiana with the parents, son Andrew and his wife, and Mary A. Strouse (age 17). In 1860 Abraham was living at Harrison County, Indiana with his granddaughter Catherine Walk Bringle and her family.
