Elizabeth married Harman (went by Herman) Butner (1771-1845) on 02 Sep 1794 at Rowan (present day Davidson) County, North Carolina. Elizabeth and Herman were the parents of nine known children, namely:

1. Joseph Butner (1795-1795)

3. Elisabeth Butner Spach (1798-1861)

5. Johann Michael Butner (1805-1805)

7. Susanna Rebecca Butner Krause (1808-1846)
8. Maria Louise Butner Spach (1818-1880)
