CORINE ABELL, 84, formerly of 5760 New Cut Road, died Sunday at Wesley Manor Retirement Community. She was the former Corine Hardesty, a native of Meade County and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Survivors: two daughters, Marge Johannemann and Sister Mary C. Abell; two sons, Dona and Nick Abell; two sisters, Margaret Richardson and Eva Corbett; a brother, Hubert Hardesty; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday, St. Elizabeth seton Catholic Church, 11501 Maple Way. Burial: Calvary. Visitation: Schoppenhorst-Newrath & Brooks, Preston Highway and Brooks Road, noon - 9 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial gifts: Mass of the Air or Sisters of Charity of Nazareth retirement fund.
