LUCILLE SKELTON, 82, of 1208 Queen Ave., died Wednesday at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was the former Lucille Hardesty, a native of Meade County. Survivors: three sisters, Margaret Richardson of Brandenburg and Eva Corbett and Corine Abell; two brothers, Hubert and David Hardesty, both of Brandenburg; and a friend, Esther Allgood, who cared for her. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday, St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Brandenburg. Burial: St. George Cemetery, Brandenburg. Visitation: Hager Funeral Home, Brandenburg, after 3 p.m. Thursday.

LUCILLE SKELTON, 82, of Louisville, formerly of Brandenburg, died Wednesday, September 2, 1992 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville. She was born February 22, 1910, the daughter of Nicholas & Essie Victoria Payne Hardesty. She is survived by: three sisters; Eva Corbett of Louisville, Corine Abell of Louisville, and Margaret Richardson of Brandenburg; two brothers, Hubert Hardesty and David Hardesty of Brandenburg; a dear friend Esther Allgood of Louisville and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was Friday, September 4, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church with the Rev. Jack Barker officiating. Burial was in St. George Cemetery. Arrangements by Hager Funeral Home. Vigil services were held September 3.
