MEADE COUNTY MESSENGER OBITUARY

Nick Hardesty, age 49, one of the best-known farmers in this section, died last Tuesday of cancer of the liver. He is survived by his wife and five sons and four daughters. Funeral services were held at Payneville (St. Mary Magdalen), conducted by Father Gettelfinger.
∼Married First: Essie Victoria Payne on 27 Nov 1900 in Meade County, Kentucky. Patents of 12 Children. She was born 10 Nov 1880 in Payneville, Meade County, KY and died 19 August 1918 in Louisville, Jefferson County. KY. Her headstone has not been found. He Married Second: Annie Frances Ray on 21 Aug 1919 in Meade County. KY.
