MR. DAVID E. HARDESTY, 78, of Brandenburg, died Thursday Dec. 21, at Medco Center of Brandenburg. He was a retired employee of the old Railway Express Agency and an Army Veteran of World War II. He is survived by a brother, Mr. Hubert Hardesty, Brandenburg; three sisters: Mrs. Margaret Richardson, Brandenburg; Mrs. Eva Corbett, Mrs. Corine Abell, Louisville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, with Rev. Jack Barker officiating. Burial was in St. George Cemetery, directed by Hager Funeral Home. Vigil services were held at the funeral home on Monday.
