COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY - 05/07/1986
Charles Earl McCauley, 68, died Tuesday at Humana Hospital-Audubon. He was a native of Raywick and a retired employee of the General Electric Co. Survivors include his wife, the former Virginia M. Webb; a sister, Miss Louise McCauley; and seven brothers, Thomas McCauley of Toulon, IL., and Elmer, Robert, Henry, David and Garland McCauley. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church, 1816 Rangeland Road, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation at Ratterman & Sons-Bardstown Road, 3800 Bardstown Road, will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Charles Earl and Virginia Mae Webb McCauley had no children. During WW II, he was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps based in Danville, Boyle Co., KY.
