LEBANON ENTERPRISE OBITUARY - 12/24/1991
Thomas B. McCauley, 78, a native and former resident of Raywick in Marion County, died Dec. 17, 1991, at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru, IL. McCauley was born Sept. 17, 1913 in Raywick. He was a WW II army veteran [Master Sergeant], an auctioneer and realtor, a member of Wyoming American Legion and Toulon Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph B. and Mary Lyda Mattingly McCauley and four brothers, Cyril, Earl, William and David McCauley. Survivors include: one sister, C. Louise McCauley of Chicago Park, Calif.; five brothers, Elmer and Robert L. Sr. of Lebanon, Henry of Bardstown, Albert Garland of Louisville and Donald G. McCauley of Wyoming, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded and burial of the ashes will be at a later date in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Cemetery, Raywick.

Thomas McCauley was married once to Hazel Bernard, then divorced. They had no children. He is buried near his niece, Judy Ann McCauley.
