Daughter of J. Elmer and Mae (Breheny) Smith was Born in Des Moines Twp. of Boone Co. She married Chuck Smith, 17 Aug 1929 in Bethany, Missouri. Was a member of the Marion St. Methodist Church where the service were held with Rev. Robert Aitken officiating. Schroeder Funeral Home was in charge.
Her parents, husband Chuck in 1972, three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Survivors include four sons, Donald L., Ronald L., Robert L. and John C. all of Boone; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Nancy) Larson of Boone; four brothers, Joe Smith of Ipswich, S.D., Elmer of Goodell, Iowa, Virgil of Boone, Edward of Gridley, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Miller of Des Moines and Mrs. Ruth Coss, of Davenport; and 19 grandchildren.
