Olive married John Edward Vaughn in Boone, Iowa on 6 Aug 1924.
Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Vaughn, and her parents, the late J.Elmer and Mae (Breheny) Smith of Luther; a sister, Mrs. Paul (Mary) Smalley; and a brother, John W. Smith.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Don (Doris) Foreman and Mrs. Roger (Mary Lou) Morris both of Des Moines; 6 brothers, Thomas, and Virgil of Boone, Clarence of Medford, Ore., Edward of Gridley, Calif., Joe of Ipswich, S.D., and Elmer Smith of Belmond, Iowa; 4 sisters, Mrs. Charles (Eva) Smith, Boone, Mrs. Catherine Miller of Des Moines, Mrs. Ruth Coss and Mrs. Lena Stout, both of Davenport; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-children; and several nieces and nephews living in Boone.
