Emma G. Gardner, 95, died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, in Scottsdale, Ariz. One of 12 children, she was born Aug 13, 1904, near Iberia to Benjamin and Cynthia Dial Williams, early citizens of Miller County. She was married to Gerald E. Gardner of Iberia and they made their home in Kansas City. Mr. Gardner died in 1981.
Surviving are three sons, Ed Gardner of Hilton Head, S.C., Ben Gardner of San Diego, Calif., and Gary Gardner of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a sister, Evelyn Johnston of Corpus Christi, Texas; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a special family friend, Marvin Braden of Hot Springs Village, Ark.
Burial was in the Williams Family Cemetery.

Mr. Gardner was born July 4, 1907, in Miller County. He died Oct. 7, 1981, in Kansas City. He was the son of Elmer and Mary Elizabeth Tallman Gardner.
They are survived by their three sons, Benjamin Williams, Gerald Edwin and Gary Robert Gardner; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
