Obituary:

Adron A. Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Williams, was born September 18, 1888 near Iberia, Missouri and passed away November 13, 1975 at a hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri at the age of 87 years, 1 month and 24 days. In 1917 he was united in marriage to Mary Ellen Wall and to this union six children were born. Mrs. Williams passed away November 27, 1963.

A number of years ago Mr. Williams united with a Baptist Church at Reading, Kansas. Most of his life has been spent as a farmer. Surviving relatives are three sons, Glen Williams, California, Mo., Donald and Jerry Williams of Brumley, Mo.; three daughters, Dorothy Arnold, Ely, Minnesota, Bonnie Jones, Glen, Mississippi and Linda Colvin of Spring Valley, California; one brother, Dale Williams of Pueblo, Colorado; seven sisters, Elta Knoll, Edna Irwin and Effie Morgan of Iberia, Mo., Evelyn Muirhead, Salt Lake City, Utah, Emma Gardner, Kansas City, Mo. and Edith Meyer of Mercedes, Texas; 1 stepson, Hilgar Maher of Kansas City, Kansas; fourteen grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 1975 at the First Baptist Church in Brumley, Missouri with Rev. Paul Martin officiating. Interment was made in the Hawkins Cemetery near Brumley, Missouri. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Hedges Funeral Home of Brumley, Missouri.
