Mrs. Violet Mae Driver, 71, died at her home, 705 E. Miller at 2 a.m. yesterday. She had been in failing health for the past three years.
A native of Miller County, she was married to William Driver on Sept. 27, 1907. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Clarence of Jefferson City; seven daughters, Mrs. Grace Tyree of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Blanche McKenzie and Mrs. Flossie Anderson, both of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Gladys Holmes of Kansas City, Kan., Mrs. Gertrude Rolen of St. Louis, Mrs. Maud Sears and Mrs. Minnie Fulcher, both of Jefferson City; 34 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
