Evelyn Johnston, 92, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2003 in a local hospital. She was born April 20, 1911 in Iberia, Missouri to Ben and Cynthia Williams. She was a homemaker, an avid bridge player, and attended Arlington Heights Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond V. Johnston, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Mary E. (John Boeye) and Pat (Bennie) Gallagher all of Corpus Christi; her son, Ray V. Johnston, Jr. of Corpus Christi; five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted at 10:00 A. M. Saturday, August 2, 2003 in Arlington Heights Community Church. Please do not send flowers. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
