Mrs. Hirum Guy ....dies Monday
Funeral for Mrs. Hiram Guy,60, who died at 5:30 a.m. Monday at her home following a heart attack, will be held at 2p.m. Wednesday in Elliot's Chapel of Memories.
Officiating will be the Rev. Francis Benton, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Guy suffered a heart attack about two years ago and had been under a doctors care the past week.
She had been a PBX operator for Western Cotton Oil Mill here for 10 years. Mrs. Guy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Her husband has been employed by the U.S. Post Office here for 27 years.
Mrs. Guy is survived by her husband: two sisters, Mrs. Mary Alice Miller of Verden and Mrs. Ivan S. Harris of Seattle,Wash.; two brothers, G.G. Howard of Austin and P.P. Howard of Forsan,Tex.
Pallbearers will be E.V. Smith, John Milstead, Ray Brazille, Bill Grovenor, Hui Tucker and Theiss Jones.

Hiram and Stella never had children.
