AUSTIN- G.G. Howard,86, of 114066 Oakwood Dr. died Friday at his residence here. He had previously lived in Hawley, Aspermont and Jayton for many years.
Services will be held Monday afternoon at the Weed-Corley Funeral Home in Austin. Burial will be in the Capital Memorial Gardens in Austin.
Mr. Howard retired from the Fort Worth and Denver Railroad in 1945 with 40 years service.
He was born Aug. 21, 1880 , in Overton, Tennessee.
Survivors include his wife, Allie Howard, Austin; two daughters, Mrs. Naomi Allen, Andrews and Beatrice Cambell, Austin; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Harris, Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Alice Miller, Verden, Okla.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
