He was a member of the Baptist Church and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite: Shrine. He had been a real estate dealer, and had operated a service station and garage. He had served as the City Judge of Prague, Oklahoma.
Eura married Martha Elizabeth 'Johnson' on January 9, 1898
in Lincoln Co., Oklahoma.
He was the father of 9 children listed in order:

Eura was a loving son, brother, father
and husband.I have an original letter
written by his sister, Ina,and she speaks
of him fondly, telling how he would come by
her home and give her help with different
things. His death came as quite a shock to
the family, it was sudden.
Eura Long built a beautiful large
two story brick home on the outskirts
of Prague in 1924. It had a double car
garage and sit on a large landscaped lot.
The home is being lived in by a family
today and is still quite beautiful.
The Prague Golf Course is
now across from the home.
