For Birdge B. Babcock

WEST CONCORD - Funeral services for Birdge B. Babcock 60, of West Concord, who died Monday morning will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in West Concord with the Rev C. Rodney Benson officiating. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Ferguson Funeral Home in West Concord until noon Wednesday and then at the church.
Mr. Babcock was born May 18, 1902 in West Concord. He married the former Julia Rafferty, Feb 22, 1922. They lived in West Concord most of their married life.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Birdge Jr., of Moline, Ill., Harold of Manitowoc, Wis., and David at home, six daughters, Mrs. Milford Busho of Austin, Mrs. Louis Meyer of West Concord, Mrs. Edwin Koberstein of Nerstand, Mrs. William Houston of Austin, Mrs. Kenneth Fenimore of St. Louis, and Mrs W. L. Reim of Austin; 27 grand children, and six sisters; Miss Minnie Babcock and Miss Annie Babcock both of West Concord; Mrs. Claude Uptagrafft of West Concord, Mrs. Julius Peterson of Kenyon, Mrs. Martin Nelson of Rochester, and Mrs. Joseph Kartel of Mason City.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, one son and three brothers.
