Irene Meyer, West Concord, died Sunday, August 25 in Minneapolis. She was 57 years old.
She was born July 31, 1928, in Pine Co, Minnesota. She married Louis A. Meyer August 19, 1944, in Claremont. Mr. Meyer preceded his wife in death in 1979. She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, West Concord.
Mrs. Meyer is survived by two sons, James, Reno, Nevada; and William, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; eight daughters, Mrs. Michael (Elizabeth) Belina, Owatonna; Judith Meyer, Minneapolis; Deborah Youngberg, Minneapolis; Mrs. Keith (Catherine) Baker, Minnetonka; Mrs. Jeanette Meyer, Minneapolis; Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Schriver, San Francisco; Mrs. Lance (Mary) Hogle, Minnetonka; and Mrs. Leonard (Angela) McGinley, Stewartville; three brothers, Bud Babcock, Moline, Illinois; Harold Babcock, Manitowac, Wisconsin; and David Babcock, Minneapolis; five sisters, Mrs. Bud (Elaine) Busho, Fairmont; Mrs. Marlin (Eunice) Stenbakken, Nerstrand; Mrs. Robert (Lola) Stockdale, Austin; Mrs. Bill (Beverly) Houston, Austin; and Mrs. Kenneth (Jean) Fennimore, Godley, Texas; and 14 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2pm Wednesday at St. Vincent dePaul Church, West Concord. Rev. John Cody will officiate. Burial will be at St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery. Friends may call 3-5 & 7-9pm today at Brick Funeral Home, and one hour before the service Wednesday at the church. There will be a parish vigil at 8pm at the funeral home.
