Beverly was born May 20, 1937 to Birdge and Juliu (Rafferty) Babcock in West Concord, Minnesota. She was raised with her siblings Ole, Bud, George, David, Lola, Irene, Eunice, Mary, Jean, and Elaine. Bev graduated in 1955 at Austin High School, then attended beauty school. She made her living as a hairdresser for many years. On November 25, 1956 she was united in marriage to Billie F. Houston at St Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin, Minnesota. Survivors include her sons Brian (Deanna) Houston of Onamia, Mn., Thomas Houston of Blooming Prairie, Mn,, Todd (Theresa) Houston of Ellsworth, Wisconsin and daughter Susanne (James) Crabtree of Blooming Prairie, Mn.:
grandchildren Christine, Matthew, Katherine, Amy, Amber, Heather, Alexander, Tyler and Noah, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Billie. A memorial service was held at St. Olaf Lutheran Church on October 4, 2018.
