Daughter, just under 3 months of age, of MIchael "Mitchell" Wolf (1847-1927) and Rebecca Hill Wolf (1847-1925). Margaret was the 5th child born to this family of 12 children, 7 daughters and five sons. Of the 12 children, including Margaret, 4 died in childhood on the harsh Walnut Creek (now Rockne) settlement of early Texas.

Margaret is listed on Page 35 of the Rockne HIstory Book, published by the Rockne Historical Society. It mentions her baptism shortly before she died. Her family is also listed on Page 546 of the history with her father and mothers and sibling's tree.

Burial was in the Wolf Cemetery along with her other child siblings and her grandparent and aunt. The Walnut Hill church cemetery near the Church of Ascension did not occur until Sept of 1876, shortly before the new church was completed.

The family will add Bastrop records as available. - Dale Wolf
