Services for Ruth Y. Kelly will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Immanuel Baptist Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Kelly, 101, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at her residence. She was a former teacher and newspaper columnist for the Stewart-Webster Journal. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and was regional director of Women's Missionary Society. She was the widow of Meredith G. Kelly.

Survivors include her children Helen Holder of Lumpkin, Betty English of Lake Park, Meredith Kelly of Valdosta, Mary Kelly and Karen Kelly, both of Macon; brother Joseph Yancey of LaGrange; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight in Hart's Mortuary. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund, 129 Yukon Road, Macon 31217.
