Funeral services for Meredith Gibson Kelly, 72, of 862 Lackey Drive, who died in the V.A. Hospital early yesterday morning will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Horton-Ivey Funeral Home

Rev. W.L. Etheridge and the Rev. Joe Andrews will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Taylor, Jack Holder, Fred English, Sam Penn, Paul Collier and Claude Harper. Honorary pallbearers will be Grant Collier, P.O. Taylor, B.W. Culverhouse, N.C. Moore, Jack Roney, G.B. Sauls and Delmar Cobb.

Kelly, a retired carpenter, was born in Newberry County, S.C., the son of James M. and Susie B. Kelly. He was a member of Louvale Baptist Church and veteran of World War I.

Survivors are his wife, the former Ruth Yancey, Macon; four sons, Karen Kelly and Russell J. Kelly, both of Macon, M-Sgt. M.D. Kelly, USAF, Spain, Meredith Y. Kelly, Greenville, S.C.; four daughters, Mrs. Jack Holder, Lumpkin, Mrs. John W. Roney and Miss Mary Kelly, both of Macon, and Mrs. Fred English, Valdosta; one brother, E.H. Kelly, Tallahassee, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Susie Kerr, Tallahassee, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
