SUWANNEE, FL- Joseph L. Yancey, 87, died Tuesday at his residence. Services will be held 11A.M., Saturday, July 5, 2003 in the Chapel of Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville. Burial will be in the Allentown City Cemetery.

Mr. Yancey was a native of Bleckley County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Benjamin Davis and Clara Polk Yancey. Mr. Yancey was an Accountant and was retired as Vice President of Aero Corp. where he served for twenty-eight years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of LaGrange, Georgia.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret F. Yancey of Suwannee, FL; two daughters, Clara Lynne Sirell of LaGrange, GA, and Mary Cordova of Canulitto, TX; two sons, Allen Yancey of Edgewater, FL, and Jody Yancey of Reidsville, NC; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10A.M., until service time in the funeral home.
