FORT VALLEY — Mary Y. Collier of 316 Central Ave. died Friday in a local hospital after an extended illness. She was 79.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon. The Rev. Burns Willis will officiate.

A Bleckley County native, Mrs. Collier was a member of Highpoint Baptist Church in Macon.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mayo Lacy of Fort Valley; a son, John Paul Collier of Lake Sinclair; a sister, Ruth Kelly of Macon; two brothers, Paul Yancey of Montrose and Joseph Yancey of Lake City, Fla.: and a grandchild.

Rooks Funeral Home in Fort Valley has charge arrangements.

The family may be contacted at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Mayo Lacy, Macon Road, Fort Valley.
