Laura Katherine Dlxon, the daughter of Alfred and Ellen Holder was born in Raymondville, Mo. February 14, 1888 and died July 15, 1967 at the Texas County Memorial Hospital, making her age at time of death 79years 5 months and one day.
She was united in marriage to Walter Dixon July 2,190S and to this union four children were born.
Surviving are one son, Raymond of Summersville, Mo. ; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Bodo of Houston and Nova Jean. One daughter Orpha preceded her in death.
Also surviving are four b r o t h e r s , Charley Holder, Eunice; John Holder, Cabool, Harvey Holder, Houston and Audie Holder, Eunice. There are 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Monday July 17, in the Big Creek Church by the Rev. Robert Smith. Burial was in the Big Creek Cemetery, under the direction of Evans-Elliott.
