NORMA BODO

Norma Bell Medlock Bodo, 85, daughter of Walter and Laura J Holder Dixon, was born March 22, 1906, near Yukon. She died Nov. 8, 1991, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. She had a history of heart problems.

She spent her entire life in this area and worked several years at Fort Leonard Wood and Texas County Memorial Hospital. She and her husband lived in Houston.

She was preceded in death by a husband, Fred Medlock; a son. Ivan; a brother, Raymond Dixon; and a sister, Orphie Callahan.

Surviving are her husband, Louis Bodo, of the home in Houston; her children, Glen Medlock of Joplin, Robert Medlock of Ellisville, Tliara June Sanders and Ronnie Medlock of Neosho, John Medlock of Fcnton, Don Medlock of St. Louis and Linda Hall of Houston; one sister, Nova Jean Terrell of Illinois; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services were Nov. 11 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Wallace officiating. Burial was in the Big Creek Cemetery.
