She was born on September 11, 1918 in Keewaydin, PA, a daughter of the late Clyde and Bertha (Lucas) Welch.
Mrs. Derbeque was a member of the Salvation Army and worked for them in various capacities for numerous years. She also was employed as a housekeeper.
She lived in York County from 1973 until 2004 when she returned to the Clearfield area.
She is survived by four children, Ramus Derbeque and wife Linda of Olanta, Alfred Derbeque and wife Patricia of York, Dorothy Quickel of Clearfield and Caroline Beard and husband Gary of York; a former son-in-law, William Quickel of Clearfield; 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, three sisters, Eva Lindsey of Clearfield, Edith Mihalko of West Decatur, Edna Best of OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Derbeque on December 27, 1956, a daughter Leona Latterman, brothers, Charles, Carl, Floyd, Herbert, Haskell and Elmer Welch, and sisters, Mary McFay, Bertha Collar and Gladys Martell.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at 1:00 P.M. with Mr. James L. Knepp officiating. Interment will follow in the Mock's Hill Cemetery, Boggs Township, Clearfield County.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8:00 PM and on Thursday from Noon - 1:00 PM
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Salvation Army, 119 Byers Street, Clearfield.
