Esther Bieritz, of Downers Grove, IL, formerly of Yorkville, IL, died in Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL.

Miss Bieritz was a retired registered nurse, having worked in the Aurora, IL, area her entire life. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Yorkville. She was survived by four brothers, Gerhardt, Erick, Walter, all of Yorkville, and Herman of Ottawa, IL; three sisters, Irene Bieritz, and her twin sister, Ruth Bieritz, both of Downers Grove, and Mrs. Anna Sullivan of Missoula, MT; and several neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie and Herman Bieritz; one brother, Reuben; two sisters, Rhoda Bieritz, and Mrs. Evelyn Hardecopf.Funeral services were held Saturday, March 5, 1983, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Yorkville with the Rev. Harold Grafe officating. Mrs. Sadie Devick served as organist and accompanied Glen Borneman, who sang , "What A Friend We Have In Jesus." John Bieritz, Lyle Hardecopf, Dale Dierzen, Michael Hardecopf, Lelan Bretthauer, and Cary Stevenson served as pallbearers. Visitation was held Friday, March 4th, in Larson Funeral Home in Yorkville.
