Mrs. Alice NORRIS, 90, 1308 Jackson boulevard, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday at the Canterbury Manor nursing home. She had been in ill health for two years. Mrs. Norris was born March 13, 1886 at Akron to John and Rebecca Jane HARTMAN BOWEN. She married Leo NORRIS Dec. 24, 1907; he died in 1964. She was a member of the Argos First Baptist church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lucille FISHER, Sebring, Fla., and Mrs. Robert (Betty) MILLER, Columbia City; three sons, Nelson [NORRIS], Wheaton, Ill., Wendell [NORRIS], Rochester, and Manford [NORRIS], Kouts; a brother, Vernie BOWEN, Leiters Ford; twenty grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Three sons, four sisters and seven brothers preceded in death. Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist church, Argos, with Pastor Ray OVIATT officiating. Burial will be at the Richland Center I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the Foster & Good funeral home Saturday from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and at the church one hour prior to services.
