Rose Hatch
Mrs. Rose HATCH, 82, R.R. 1, Macy, died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday at the National nursing home in Rochester where she had been for the past five months.
She was born March 27, 1888 in Fulton county to John and Rebecca HARTMAN BOWEN and was a lifelong resident of the county. In 1906 she married Clem R. MILLER who died in 1933. She married again May 7, 1938 to Lee HATCH; he died in June.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Al (Annabelle) NIXON, Plymouth; two sons, Dr. Virgil MILLER, Akron, and Don R. MILLER, Columbia City; seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; a step-daughter, Mrs. Kayo (Mary) REYOME, Griffith a step-son, John HATCH, Logansport; nine step-grandchildren; one sister, Alice NORRIS , Richland Center; two brothers, Clem BOWEN, Plymouth, and Vernie BOWEN, Leiters Ford. A son, step-daughter, step-son, six brothers and three sisters preceded in death.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sheetz funeral home, Akron, with the Rev. Claude FAWNS officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
