Bremen--Lucile N. Fisher Speck, 95, of 316 Woodies Lane, Bremen, died Friday, April 9, 2004 at 4:50 a.m. at Bremen Health Care Center.
She was born on Aug, 4, 1908 in Fulton County, Ind. to Leo and Alice (Bowen) Norris. In 1923, she married Kenneth Fisher. He preceded her in death in 1967. She married Otto Speck in 1983. He preceded her in death in 1989. She lived in Sebring, Fla. from 1968-2000 when she moved back to Bremen. She was a charter member of the First Baptist Church in Bremen where she was a member of the choir, Sunday school teacher and a piano teacher.
She is survived by a daughter, Peggy (Carl) Ernsberger, Bourbon; sister, Betty (Bob) Miller, Leesburg, Fla.; brothers, Manford (Ruth) Norris, Wanatah, Ind. and Wendell Norris, Sebring,. Fla.; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandhildren; one great-great-great grandchild; four step-grandchildren and numerous step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and four brothers.
Visitation was Sunday, April 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Funeral services were Monday, April 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Bremen with Pastor Jerry Smith officiating. Burial followed in Bremen Cemetery.
