Mr. Larson, who was born October 16, 1864 near Oslo, Norway, was a resident of Kingsbury County during the early days, having been associated with Al Hewitt in the implement and grain business at Arlington. Many years ago Mr. Larson moved to Minneapolis where he died on Saturday, May 20, 1950. Mr. Larson never married.
Funeral services were held at Brookings Tuesday at Rude's Funeral Chapel with Rev. L. O. Anerheim officiating. Mrs. Bortnem was soloist. Relatives from a distance who attended the services were a brother, G.F. Larson of Minot, ND and a sister, Mrs. H.S. Hanson of Aberdeen. Besides the above-named, Mr. Larson is survived by sisters, Mrs. Agnes Torkildson of Lake City and by brothers Will Larson of Chicago, Edwin Larson of Brookings and Henry Larson of Lake Preston.
