Stella Davis Moran, 87, daughter of the late Scott Davis and Adeline Russell Davis, was born 4 Oct 1900 in Green Co. and died Sat. 23 Jul 1988 at the Methodist Hospital in Louisville. She was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church of the Nolin Association. She was retired from the Brown-Williamson Tobacco Co. She is survived by 1 daughter, Sybil Higgdon Lacefield, and 1 son, Fred Moran, both of Louisville; 3 brothers, Rollin Davis, Louisville and Boyce and Adrain Davis, both of Greensburg; 1 sister, Pauline Wisdom, Greensburg; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends. The remains were at the Owen Funeral Home in Louisville. The graveside service was at noon Mon 25 Jul at the Judd Cem. in Green Co. The Rev. Twyman Davis officiated. Pallbearers were Jason Moran, Josh Moran, Bert Duvall, Kreil Moran, Freddie Moran and John Moran.
