Mr. Otis Davis, 69, son of the late Samuel and Rachel Davis, was born in Green County, December 3, 1898 and died at 6:10 a.m. Sunday, May 19, 1968 at the Adair County Memorial Hospital in Columbia. He was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vallie Davis. He is also survived by five sons and one daughter; Samuel E. Davis, Mrs. Trannie Arnett, Buford Davis, Eyvine Davis, Otis Davis Jr., and Garnett Davis all of Greensburg. Mr. Davis is also survived by four sisters; Mrs. Orpha Houk and Mrs. Pauline Wisdom, both of Greensburg; Mrs. Ethel Pierce, Campbellsville; Mrs. Stella Moran, Louisville; five brothers; Ulys Davis, Adrain Davis, and Boyce Davis all of Greensburg; Rollin and Cecil Davis; Louisville; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 20, 1968 at the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. F. T. Peppers, Rev. J. H. Bloyd and Rev. Terry Bishop officiated. Pallbearers were Twyman Davis, Jerry Davis, Gordon Davis, Gary Davis, Bobby Arnett, Rhonda Arnett.
