Mr. Lonnie S. Moran, 75, son of the late Joe Daniel Moran and Linda Frances Wright, was born 8 Sept 1899, in Green Co. and departed this life on 23 Oct 1974, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky. Mr. Moran had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church at the time of his death. Mr. Moran was united in marriage on 21 Jan 1943 to Theresia Eggers Moran, who survives. Mr. Moran is also survived by 1 son and 1 daughter: Fred Moran and Mrs. Sybil Higdon, both of Louisville, Ky. Other survivors include 4 sisters and 2 brothers: Mrs. J.H. Bloyd, Mrs. Terry Bishop, and Mrs. Tee Judd, all of Greensburg, Mrs. Johnny Davis, Cecil Moran, and Roy E. Moran, all of Louisville. Mr. Moran is further survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 am Sat. 26 Oct with burial in the Oak Grove Cem. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. The Rev. F.T. Peppers officiated. Pallbearers: Harold Moran, Freddy Ray Moran, Scotty Moran, Dencil Davis, Lonnie K.
